Beautiful action game
Black Desert Online is an open world fast paced action MMORPG developped by Pearl Abyss and released in 2014.
Black desert is a beautiful game, the graphics are as high as you can get from an MMORPG, it was already good looking when it first released, and in 2018, they remastered the whole game and made it way better, you need to have a powerfull computer to run the game at maximum power.
The combats are very nervous, fast paced and technical, each class has a tons of skill, and not like other MMORPG, you can barely use shortcut, almost every skills are mad with keyboard commands, it is hard to get the hang of it and to master your class, but once you do, it feels really amazing.
The story is quite like others MMO action RPG, maybe a little bit better, and you can level up easily throughtout the main questline, up untill about lvl 50, and then it gets harder.
There is no cap level in Black desert, but its already very very difficult and require a huge time bashing monsters to get to lvl 63, most player just stop leveling after reaching 63.
There is plenty of things that you can do, other than bashing mobs in Black Desert online, like fishing, harvesting, collecting, and even invest in citys, buying house and building houses, those side activities are called life skills, and you can upgrade and level up all of them like you do for your skills and caracter lvl. All of those, included the mob farming, is for the sol purpose of getting money.
Black desert economy works as such, you farm for billion years, you do your life skills to get money and then buy strong gears in the player market.
Small downsides in this game, being a open world MMORPG on a global server, you get a little laggy here and there, but for a game that fast, it is really troublesome, and 80% of what you do in black desert is bashing mobs again and again, and also some of the in game systems like the storage or the inventory slots or weight could be made a bit easier for a better quality of life.
If you are into fast hack n slash and hardcore grinding, Black Desert is the game for you !
Classes
The game currently has 19 classes, with tons of skills and very differents gameplay.
The classes are genderlocked, even thougt some classes kind of have theyre gender counterpart, but it plays totally differently.
Once you reach lvl 56 you will be able to chose between two path of gameplay and skills;
First is the Succession, which is basically the continuity of your class, you will have a new skill tree, but the same gameplay style,
Ans the other is the Awakening, which will bring another skill tree and gameplay, as your caracter will use a different weapon.
You can still switch to your original weapon whenever your want but the succession will go much further in strenght with this weapon.
No path is stronger than the other.
Caracter customization
The caracter customization is very, very deep, you can go into every detailed of your caracter, as you move and scale each part of his body and face, change the eyes, the expression, the hair style, the body hair, the color,the muscles, adding tattoos, chosing the voice etc etc. If you are into caracter customization, it is going to be hours of fun for you.
